The Library of Harvard University has one of the very richest collections of early journals in all of North America. |
Its cataloguing data is generally of high quality, usually containing detailed continuation notes that allow one to track the history of name changes of the journals in its collections. |
The catalogue is available in a good telnet version at:

There is also a new web interface at: http://hollisweb.harvard.edu/. |
