1826	Neave (1933), p.5 indicates that in 1826 the Entomological Club was founded. This Club began as a scientific society, and published the Entomological Magazine (from 1832, September to 1838, October), but later evolved into a dining club, which was evidently still in existence at the time Neave wrote (1933). According to Neave (1933), p.5, the members of the Entomological Club are [as of 1933, when he wrote] nearly always promininent members of the Entomological Society of London (later called the Royal Entomological Society ). We have not been able to establish the existence of this body past 1933, the publishing date of Neave (1933).
